This was originally written when I played Katherine but since Veta has a lot of similar traits I figured it was appropriate for her as well. It is original.
In this sacred place
Speak not of such foul deeds
As did make holy hands unclean.
These unclean hands, that holy altar unmake,
Once unmade cannot be whole
Speak not of such foul deeds
As did make holy hands unclean.
These unclean hands, that holy altar unmake,
Once unmade cannot be whole
For immortal profanity is in blood
Spilt from the side of whitest flesh,
Though no white soul did that flesh bear,
And with that rusted spear
An unholy wound did make
Through which Pandora’s flood
Did ravage the world with bitter Hope.
Yet these deeds
not by hand of mortal are done.
For no man seeks the wrath of God
With such swiftness or assurety.
Rather those angels once cast
From His most gracious light
Do but seek to leave their mark
On places held
As most sacred ground
Spilt from the side of whitest flesh,
Though no white soul did that flesh bear,
And with that rusted spear
An unholy wound did make
Through which Pandora’s flood
Did ravage the world with bitter Hope.
Yet these deeds
not by hand of mortal are done.
For no man seeks the wrath of God
With such swiftness or assurety.
Rather those angels once cast
From His most gracious light
Do but seek to leave their mark
On places held
As most sacred ground
